In the heart of the city of Dubai, a remarkable journey began when Reem Naamani and Alex Truglio crossed paths. This meeting sparked a collaboration that would evolve into a deeply personal brand.

Reem and Alex openly acknowledge the challenges of creating a brand and becoming part of it, particularly for two individuals with vastly distinct styles and backgrounds.
Yet, through unwavering cooperation, boundless patience and a shared vision, they've achieved a remarkable synergy, giving birth to an art form that eloquently speaks the language of movement.

Alex embodies the spirit of urban performance, fusing elements of Hip-Hop, Urban, Freestyle and Jazz dance into a dynamic hybrid style characterized by unceasing experimentation.

On the other hand, Reem personifies beauty in motion, drawing upon the techniques, lines, and constructs of ballet and infusing them with the liberating spirit of contemporary dance.
It's a harmonious combination, with Alex leaning towards the "weird," unrefined, and spirited movement, while Reem embodies elegance and grace

When they dance together, their distinctive styles intertwine and breathe life into one another, resulting in performances that, despite their individuality, exude a remarkable cohesiveness. In essence, they are the embodiment of "beauty and the beast," a conceptual fusion that captivates and astonishes in equal measure.

Rather than dividing them, these differences are the foundation of RYA Dance Company, officially established in September 2023 with the aim of spreading Reem’s and Alex’s combined unique style to other performers and to the international audience through short Dance Films, Site Specific and Theatrical Performances.
